Pfäffikon is situated on the outskirts of a nature reserve which belongs to one of most precious lake and moorlands, this is the good reason that this village is called «Perle am See» which means «Pearl on the lake». The landscape is stunning during every season and is an attraction for thousands of walkers and hikers from near and far.
A very favoured spot is the Pfäffiker quay, an idyllic place to have a stroll and a chat. A lot of exciting community events take place here. One of the biggest events is the Trout festival, where roughly 2800 trouts are cooked in the largest pan in Europe.
